How IRAS made API publishing faster and smoother with the APEX API Portal
Q: What’s your favourite feature in the revamped Publisher Experience?
A notable improvement is the new API Portal's capability to configure outbound parameters at the API level, applying them across all methods simultaneously. Previously, we had to manually configure these parameters for each individual method. By reducing the repetitive configuration tasks, we've been able to publish APIs more efficiently and with greater confidence!
Q: How has using the API Portal improved your API publishing process?
The new interface offers a more intuitive and straightforward approach to API configuration and management, reducing the time and effort required to publish APIs. The simplified workflow allows our team to focus more on API design and development rather than getting caught up in complex publishing procedures.
Q: Any advice for other agencies looking to optimise their API workflows using APEX?
Maintain an open mindset and be willing to adapt their existing processes. While it's natural to want to replicate familiar workflows, embracing APEX's improved processes and features can lead to significant efficiency gains. The initial investment pays off through reduced complexity and improved productivity in the long run.
